Two Teens Stabbed in Melee Outside LI School

Commack (WALK) - A pair of teenagers are in the hospital after being stabbed last night outside a local school.

According to police, the victims were part of a group that was hanging around on the grounds of Indian Hollow Primary School on Kings Park Road in Commack. Investigators say a fight broke out, and that's when the two victims were stabbed.

Poilce arrived and arrested Clyde Ricks of Bay Shore as he allegedly tried to flee the scene. Ricks, 20, has been charged with assault.

Guy Derival, 19, and Nick Governale, 19, both of Commack, were rushed to Stony Brook University Hospital. Derival is listed in stable condition, with multiple stab wounds t his chest. Governale was stabbed in the upper arm and hip but his injuries are not life-threatening, according to police.
