Trio of Alleged Facebook Robbers Busted on LI

Wantagh (WALK) - Local police who've charged three teenagers with robbing two other kids they met on Facebook say they're looking into whether there might be other victims.

Joshua Dacunha and Brandon Ward are both 18 years old and from Holbrook. They and their friend, Alex Feliciano, 16, of Lake Ronkonkoma, allegedly arranged a meeting with two other teens, after meeting them online, in order to buy a pair of athletic shoes from the victims.

Police say the suspects met the victims in person late Monday night at the corner of Johnston and Douglas Avenues in Wantagh, as arranged, but pulled a BB gun and robbed them of cash instead of buying their sneakers. The two 14-year-old victims were not hurt.

Detectives want to find out if anyone else may have been victimized by the young suspects after meeting them online. Anyone with information is asked to call Nassau's First Squad at (516) 573-6155.
