Teen Accused in Fatal Christmas Shooting

Central Islip - (WALK) A suspect in a fatal Christmas Day shooting in Medford is charged with second degree murder in the death of a Patchogue teen.

Brandon Davis, 19, of Bridgehampton, was arrested Friday and accused in the death of Taleik Bristel, also 19, of Patchogue.

Police say Davis (photo) was one of two masked men who entered Whitestar MTR, an auto body restoration shop on Cedarhurst Avenue, and demanded money from the four people inside the shop shortly before 3:00 a.m. Christmas morning.  The bandits shot all four people, fatally shooting Bristel who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The three others people inside the body shop were wounded by gunfire and taken for treatment to Brookhaven Memorial Medical Center in Patchogue.  The four victims were socializing at the shop, according to Suffolk detectives.

Davis was scheduled to be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Central Islip  on Saturday.
