Student Accused of Making Terroristic Threats

Syosset - (WALK) It's going to be a long weekend for a Syosset teen accused of threatening blow up his high school. He's free today, but scheduled to return to court Monday.

Alexander Passe (photo), 17, of Southwood Circle, was talking with a teacher shortly after 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, when he told the adult he was unhappy at school and wanted to blow up the building, according to Nassau police.

The teacher reported Passes' remark to administrators, who called police.  Detectives from the NCPD 2nd Precint  arrested Passe at his home Wednesday evening.

Passe was arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead Thursday and charged with one count of making a terroristic threat.  He was scheduled to return to court Monday and released.
