He Wanted Drugs, Not Money

East Islip (WALK) - It wasn't the money he was after.

Police are stlll hunting for the gunman who made off with prescription drugs in a robbery at a pharmacy in East Islip yesterday. It happened around 4 PM at the Country Village Pharmacy on East Main Street.

According to police, the man pulled a gun, announced a robbery, and demanded prescription medication. Employees handed it over, and the suspect fled on foot. Police aren't saying what exactly he demanded or how much he got away with.

The gun is described as Caucasian, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and 25 to 30 years old with a thin mustache. He was wearing sunglasses, a dark hooded sweatshirt and a red bandana around the lower part of his face.
