Medford (WALK) - Just a few days after police circulated photos of a suspected child predator, there's been an arrest in the case.
Ray Sanchez of Coram (pictured at right) is charged with being the man who exposed himself to an 8-year-old girl at the Target store in Medford on October 10th, and then allegedly did it again on October 15th to two 13-year-old girls outside Setauket Elementary School.
Sanchez, 31, has been in trouble with the law before, according to investigators, who say he is already a registered Level 2 sex offender.
In the incident at Target, the mother of the young victim snapped photos of the suspect before he fled, according to police. Those photos were made public by detecdtives just a few days ago.
Sanchez is charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, exposure of a person, and public lewdness.
Anyone with information, or other possible victims, are asked to contact Suffolk Crime Stoppers anonymously at (800) 220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
